Split writing, approving and posting into separate roles

Make the writer, reviewer and poster three people or one, and have the system enforce who may do what.

How it works

4 steps in YuktiBOS.

Where to find it: Content, a piece.

  1. Assign a writer, a reviewer and a poster to a piece.
  2. Only the writer changes the words, only the reviewer approves and only the poster marks it posted.
  3. If one person does all three, the approval reads Self-reviewed.
  4. An approval belongs to one saved version; if the words change, it goes back to the reviewer.

What you get

What comes out of it.

A clear record of who did what.

No approval that outlives an edit.

Who it is for. Agencies with an approval chain, and solo owners.

You may also know this as: content approval workflow, writer reviewer roles, four eyes content approval.
